The worst Job in the military to have its in alot of war movies but never expanded on. It looks like they do them justice in this movie.

And, based on your profile you live in Argentina; so I definitely wasn’t speaking to you when I posted on here! This movie shows what the family members go through during deployments. My wife and daughters have difficult sleeping whenever I deploy. They jump and are on edge when they hear a car come up our street. Military family members are the true heroes! There should be more photos of dead U.S. soldiers shown to the public, maybe that would end theses wars with no end.

no matter what you say no matter what you do no matter what they show, there is so much hate against the U.S we get use to it after awhile. My point being is, there will never be an end to war. It’s sad to say
ah for fucks sake ppl, it’s a movie. Anyways, Ben Foster and Samantha Morton are pretty intense and focused. I have a good feeling about this movie.

Yeah but it still pisses me off that the US Army/Navy claims that they are defending the world’s freedom all the time just by bombarding Iraq and Afghanistan. “When the whole world is expecting us, we better come prepared”, the Navy slogan on my Car and Driver mag.
I’m not speaking about the harshness of being deployed and all the psychological implications of being in a war. It just pisses me off that because one has never been deployed or in the army one can’t have an opinion on the military. I’m sorry about your family being worried and all the troubles that come with you living away from them… but when you say “how many of you are actually in the military?” it makes me pissed because that shows YOUR lack of inteligence being condescending to others.
Listen you took me asking that question the wrong way. End of story!!! All some people want to do is listen to all the negative coverage from our media, and never believe that we are doing any good!!!! Maybe one day you can go and check it out for yourself and speak directly to the people; that way you will know first hand. Please have your opinions no one is stopping you. I don’t think I could watch that film. I worried about the ‘two men at the door with bad news scenario’ for a year until about 2 months ago. It’s something that’s always there in the back of your mind. You’re always wondering if your husband is safe, it’s your first thought in the morning and last thought at night (well, that and ‘I wish he were home, this bed is too big/cold with just me in it’). I’m so thankful he’s home safe now.
It’s good they made this film to show what happens though.
I completely understand what your saying ! I worry all the time while my husband is deployed. It’s stressful! I like the actors that are in this movie though. I can’t imagine doing the job that they do. I could not handle that! It’s ashame people can’t walk a mile in a soldiers boots then they might better understand!! Better appreciate!!

i thought id be the first to give a review on this movie scince most people commenting on this video seem to be jerks just lookin to argue about the war or more or less,,,im 16 and went to see this movie in manhatten scince it seems its limited release and obviously independent nooone i know one i know has a mind old enough in my school to appreciate it or ever see it unles its brought to them this movie was powerful and unbelievably real,,ben foster brake through performance(^^next comment ^^)
woody harrelson classic couldnt get better and there are scenes in this movie that will get ur emotions racing anger,sadness,happiness.Havent seen a movie thats independent and that got me this hyped in a while.Go see this and plezz people stop lookin for arguments and thanks to Hollywoodstreams for posting this trailer i wouldav never known about this movie but thanks to you another great movie added to the list…..Btw the song in the trailer “amazing grace” by willie Nelson,live version sucks
