Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief HD Movie Trailer
It’s the 21st century, but the gods of Mount Olympus and assorted monsters have walked out of the pages of high school student Percy Jackson’s Greek mythology texts and into his life. And they’re not happy: Zeus’ lightning bolt has been stolen, and Percy is the prime suspect. Even more troubling is the sudden disappearance of Percy’s mother. As Percy finds himself caught between angry and battling gods, he and his friends embark on a cross-country adventure to catch the true lightning thief, save Percy’s mom, and unravel a mystery more powerful than the gods themselves.

Wow people, chill the movie hasn’t even come out yet. I highly doubt the movie is gonna suck just because Grover is black or because Annabeth is a brunette. At least wait for the movie to come out, sheesh.
If we’re lucky, it’ll be nothing like Eragon. Now that was just shit x_x (And if I remember correctly, Percy gets the pen when he leaves for his “quest”).

i think they did what they did in the vampire’s assistant they just took a bunch of details from the books and left out others then made a movie using the more famous title but idk
eragon sucked saw it got bored threw it out… this movie looks a freakin crapload better!
